Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has shared this video on social media and raised questions on the Prime Minister. In the video, a Norwegian journalist is seen trying to ask a question to the Prime Minister, when PM Modi passes by him. The Congress party and the opposition have targeted the government over this incident.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?
While sharing the video on social media platform ‘X’, Rahul Gandhi made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wrote that when you have nothing to hide, there is no reason to be afraid. Raising questions on this matter, Rahul Gandhi asked what is the impact on the country’s image when the world sees that the Prime Minister of India runs away in fear of some questions.
What did the journalist ask in the video?
In the video, Norwegian journalist Helle Ling can be heard asking a question to Prime Minister Modi. He asked, “PM Modi, why don’t you answer the questions of the world’s freest press?” After this the journalist himself shared this video on ‘X’. He wrote that he did not expect the Prime Minister to answer his question. The journalist said that Norway ranks first in the world in terms of press freedom, while India ranks 157th. He stressed that it is the duty of journalists to ask questions to those in power.
How did the embassy respond?
The Indian Embassy also gave its reaction on this entire matter. Responding to the journalist’s post, the embassy said that a press briefing is being organized at 9:30 pm at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel regarding the Prime Minister’s visit. The Embassy invited journalists to attend the briefing and ask their questions there.
