Lucknow, July 1 (IANS). National President of SubhaSP and Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government, Omprakash Rajbhar, while congratulating Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on his birthday, took a political dig in a cheeky manner.
Describing the congratulatory message as a ‘birthday gift’, Rajbhar advised Akhilesh Yadav to leave AC-PC politics and go among the villages, poor, farmers and backward people. He said that there is no shortcut to connect with the land, for this one has to walk on ridges and roam from village to village.
OP Rajbhar wrote on social media platform X, “Happy birthday to Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav ji.” I pray to God for your good health and long life. I thought a lot about what to give you as a gift, you are the son of a big family, your father was a former CM and Defense Minister, you yourself have been a former Chief Minister, you have lived your life in luxurious bungalows. What can we give you? But being older in age and experience, we can give you one valuable advice. Consider this advice as a gift from me on your birthday.
He wrote, “The advice is that you should get out of your lazy and comfortable life as soon as possible, the sooner you give up the politics of AC and PC, the better it will be for you. Get out of laziness and measure the paths of the villages and villages. Go among the non-Yadav backward classes, the poor, the Dalits, the deprived and every other section of the society, participate in their happiness and sorrow, see the new Uttar Pradesh and try to understand it.”
OP Rajbhar said, “Don’t just sit in the empty AC and keep watching videos of fields, farmers, ridges and footpaths on Twitter, go to the fields and consider yourself a farmer. Yes, it is possible that while initially walking on the ridge and footpath, your foot may get pinched or a thorn may sink. On top of that, you will feel hot and drenched in sweat, but if you keep trying, one day you will understand the real path from village politics to state politics.
He further said that Akhilesh Babu, there is no shortcut to connect with the land, for that one has to rub the grain on the ridge. Learn from us, I roam from village to village even in 48 degrees.
