Ranchi, July 3 (IANS). Congress leader Rajesh Thakur reacted on several political issues. These include Congress leader Kapil Sibal’s comments on BJP and Ram Temple, opposition’s allegations and work-related controversies. These things were said at a time when the debate is intensifying at the national level regarding the temple trust dispute, election issues and administrative charges in different states.
Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal has accused BJP that the party asks for votes in the name of Ram and misleads people in the name of Shri Ram. Responding to this statement, Congress leader Rajesh Thakur while talking to news agency IANS said that we have been saying this continuously and KC Venugopal has written the letter to PM Modi.
Through the letter it has been said in clear words that the investigation into the Shri Ram Temple offering theft case should be done under the supervision of the Supreme Court. Rahul Gandhi has been saying that the watchman is a thief, then the PM felt that he was speaking about him and defamation cases were being filed.
Rajesh Thakur raised the question that who created the trust in Ram temple, who appointed the people in it? BJP has been claiming to bring Shri Ram to Ayodhya. Those who steal offerings in the name of Ram are being given protection. The SIT has sought time as it was not able to cover up things properly during the investigation. That is why Congress wants that the investigation should be conducted under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge. Since this is a question related to people’s faith, an impartial investigation is necessary.
He said that BJP has looted not only votes but also money in the name of Lord Ram, the Congress party will not tolerate this.
TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee has accused CID of harassment during interrogation. On this issue, Congress leader Rajesh Thakur said that there is no need to say anything in Bengal. They are harassed by taking them for questioning and the people living in the houses are tortured by sending BJP workers. Harassment policy has been made in Bengal. People of BJP are thinking day and night to kill democracy.
He said that these things are not right in a democracy, all people need to be careful, because every day is not for one person.
At the same time, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, while commenting on the case of theft of Ram temple offerings, said that now BJP will neither get donations nor votes, reacting sharply on this statement, Congress leader Rajesh Thakur said that the way faith has been played with, anyone would say the same in such a situation. People have faith in Lord Ram, who will make offerings for thieves?
Supporting the statement of Akhilesh Yadav, he said that there is no need to donate to thieves and there is no need to vote for thieves, this is also true. Such people need to be taught a lesson.
The Election Commission has sought answers on the split between the TMC party in West Bengal and if the dispute is not resolved, the election symbol can be frozen. On this the Congress leader said that the intentions of the Election Commission are not hidden from anyone. There have been many such cases in the past as well, in which everyone knows what the Election Commission did. The Election Commission is working as a subsidiary unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
