Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Elections: The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has taken a very important decision regarding the upcoming panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh. In the meeting of the Election Committee held in Meerut, the RLD took a big step and decided that the party alone would contest the panchayat elections without any alliance. In Meerut (RLD), keeping an important meeting in view of Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections, a huge announcement was made by the party. Despite being a part of the NDA, now the Rashtriya Lok Dal Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections will be contested only on its own. The Bharatiya Janata Party has also been in a lot of tension since this announcement of the Rashtriya Lok Dal.
In Meerut, State Convenor of Panchayat Election Committee, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal made a big announcement about the party in a meeting on 12 September. Regarding the meeting of the Election Committee held in Meerut, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal said that the election of the panchayat is the election of the village. The people of the village vote in it. Our party is connected to the grass root level in the village, we work on it. And on the basis of that, we are preparing to contest elections in the entire state. Our complete preparation has been done, we had a meeting in Meerut which was our regional level meeting. Our region is the region of two mandals, our coalition, we are also parts of NDA. It is at the assembly level and at the Lok Sabha level. But this is a regional level election, panchayat election. We will work to fight this election on the strength of our organization, on the strength of our worker.
The party will be decided by the party
During this meeting, all the officials of Meerut and Saharanpur divisions, regional presidents and members of the Panchayat Samiti were present. In this meeting, it was also decided that five member committee will be formed in every district which will take responsibility for the candidate selection. RLD believes that the strength of the organization will reach the lower level from the panchayat elections and the workers will also get an opportunity for proper participation in active politics. The state convenor of the Panchayat Election Committee told about the meeting that a strong foundation of the assembly elections will be prepared from the panchayat elections itself. During this, Kuldeep Ujjwal also emphasized the statement that the panchayat level victory will determine the big political direction of the future.
