Congress, citing a report related to America, claimed on Thursday that this is another big blow to India’s diplomacy.
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that this report of the US Congress is not acceptable for India.
Ramesh said in a post on ‘X’, ‘The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission has recently submitted its annual report to the US Congress. The commission, jointly constituted by the US Senate and House of Representatives, has 12 independent members. He said, ‘The annual report for 2025 is about 800 pages. The sections on pages 108 and 109 are absolutely astonishing and beyond comprehension.’
Ramesh claimed that in this report, the Pahalgam terror attack carried out by Pakistan in April 2025 has been described as an ‘insurgent attack’ and talks about ‘Pakistan’s military success over India’ in the four-day conflict.
The Congress leader said, ‘(US) President (Donald) Trump has claimed 60 times (so far) that he has stopped Operation Sindoor. The Prime Minister has maintained complete silence (on this).
Ramesh says that now this report of the US-China Economic and Security Commission of the US Congress has come which is completely unacceptable for India.
He asked whether the Prime Minister and the Foreign Ministry will register objection and protest on this?
Ramesh claimed that the country’s diplomacy has suffered another severe blow.
