RJD-Congress have released rate list, not their manifesto: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance, saying the alliance has not released its manifesto but a “ratelist”. The PM stressed that the real motive behind every announcement is extortion, ransom, looting and corruption.

Addressing a rally in Chapra, the Prime Minister said, “The leaders of Jungle Raj are continuously misleading you, luring you. RJD’s manifesto, Congress’ manifesto is not a manifesto. They have revealed their rate list. The real motive behind their every announcement is extortion, ransom, loot, corruption, all this.”

Recalling the Champa Biswas case, the Prime Minister stressed that if today’s youth came to know the truth about this incident, they would be shocked. He stressed that RJD has turned the Chief Minister’s Office into a mafia den.

PM Modi said, “Today’s youth will be shocked to know what happened to the wife of a Dalit IAS officer in Bihar in 1998. The Dalit IAS officer’s wife had written a letter to the Governor saying that RJD goons raped her for several days and did not spare other women of the family, torturing them too. During the RJD government, the Chief Minister’s office had also turned into the office of mafias.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress for insulting the people of Bihar among other states, recalling the incident of former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s 2022 statement, which was also attended by Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Speaking at an election rally in Chapra, the Prime Minister said that despite the insult by Bihari people, Priyanka Gandhi was smiling during the incident.

During an election campaign event in Punjab in 2022, Channi had urged people not to allow “bhaiyas” from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to enter the state. When Channi was making this comment, Priyanka Gandhi was also standing next to him.

PM Modi said, “Friends, I want to remind you how much the Lantern (RJD), Hath (Congress) people and their Indian coalition partners have insulted Bihar. The Congress Chief Minister in Punjab openly announced that people from Bihar will not be allowed to enter his state. He made this statement during a public speech. At that time, on the stage, a daughter of the Gandhi family, who sits in Parliament these days, was clapping happily at this.”

Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on 6 and 11 November. The results will be declared on 14 November.
