Patna, 26 December (IANS). JDU spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan, while targeting Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has warned that if it still does not improve, the party will not survive.
This statement of JDU spokesperson has come at a time when RJD is targeting the NDA government on crime.
JDU spokesperson spoke to IANS in Patna. He said that RJD is immersed in corruption. The public is giving them crushing defeat again and again. Still they are not ready to change their habits. No reform seems possible within RJD. Tejashwi Yadav goes abroad, now it is heard that he has come to Delhi and his party is dominating without any reason.
JDU spokesperson said that if a political party does not respect the mandate of the people, then its place belongs in the dustbin. They fail to understand that their party is continuously losing elections. With great difficulty the Leader of Opposition was able to save his seat. If there is no improvement then no trace of the party will be left.
On the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh, he said that it is a matter of great concern and it is continuing. After Dipu Chandra Das, another Hindu youth has been murdered. Hindus are being especially targeted before the upcoming elections. Their religious places have been attacked, homes raided and violence inflicted upon them. India’s Foreign Ministry has expressed strong objection to these incidents in Bangladesh. The UN has also condemned the incidents there. The international community should intervene in this. The Government of Bangladesh should be directed to stop the ongoing persecution of religious minorities.
On the increase in railway fares, JDU spokesperson said that there has been a slight increase in ticket prices, but the facilities that Indian Railways is providing to the common people are more than these changes. In recent times, Indian Railways, be it railway stations, tracks or modern trains, has continuously provided excellent services and facilities to the people of India, which are truly worthy of praise.
On vacating the government residence of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi at 10 Circular Road, he said why would she need a government house? They own benami properties and assets, registered in the name of their family members, making them one of the richest families in Bihar. They can live anywhere and do not have to worry about government accommodation.
