Rohini Acharya attacks central government over increase in fuel prices

How many hours and how many days should daughters stay in their maternal home: Rohini Acharya

Patna, May 15 (IANS). The increase in fuel prices has once again given rise to political controversy. Lalu Prasad’s daughter and RJD leader Rohini Acharya has targeted the central government over rising inflation.

Writing on social media platform

In his post, he said that rising fuel prices have made financial crisis an everyday reality for the common people. He said in the post that the question is not just about the increase of Rs 3; This is due to the burden of ever increasing inflation.

He further alleged that the burden of inflation falls disproportionately on daily wage laborers and common citizens, while the government remains indifferent to their hardships.

Acharya also took aim at the government’s long-standing slogan ‘Acche Din’ and argued that public expenditure is continuously increasing, but no concrete relief or explanation is being given by the government.

He further said that due to increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, the biggest burden falls on those who earn and eat daily, i.e. on the common people, but the government, which is running at the behest of rich industrialists, does not care about the problems of the common people.

Rising inflation has affected the general public across India in many ways, leading to widespread concern about rising household expenses. The prices of many essential commodities have increased rapidly, further increasing the concern among citizens.

This surge in prices started with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to increase import duty on gold and silver, which led to a rise in gold prices.

After this the prices of milk and CNG increased. Now fuel prices have also been increased.

Since Friday, May 15, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by more than Rs 3 per liter across the country.
