Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, June 27 (IANS). Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar NCP-SP party MLA Rohit Pawar has given his reaction on Uddhav Thackeray’s visit to Marathwada and the issue of farmers in the states. He said that farmers are still under great worry. The government had promised loan waiver, but it has not been fulfilled till now.

Regarding Shiv Sena-UBT chief, Rohit Pawar, while talking to the media on Saturday, said, “Uddhav Thackeray is visiting different districts and assembly constituencies, because many of his MPs have gone to other parties. In such a situation, Uddhav Thackeray will go to every district and meet the workers and strengthen the organization.”

On the issue of farmers, the NCP-SP MLA said, “Farmers are still in great worry. The government had promised loan waiver, but it has not been fulfilled till now.” He alleged that the government has implicated the farmers and his party’s aim is to provide justice to the farmers.

Meanwhile, on the question of fertilizer distribution under the pilot project, Rohit Pawar said that about six farmers are committing suicide every day in Maharashtra. Farmers are not getting fertilizers, diesel and other essential items related to farming on time and their prices are continuously increasing. He said that the government shows off more. Due to the terms and conditions set by the government for loan waiver, about 70 percent of farmers will be deprived of loan waiver and it will not be a complete loan waiver.

NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar said that last year due to rain, there was a loss of agriculture worth Rs 35 thousand crore in the entire state. The government had announced a compensation of Rs 31 thousand crore, but only Rs 10 thousand crore came into the hands of the people. Rs 20 thousand crores did not reach the farmers because the government had imposed certain conditions. He said that if the government wants to help the farmers then the price of fertilizer should be reduced. There is also a need to increase availability.

On the issue of alleged money irregularities in the Ram temple, Rohit Pawar said that people had donated with devotion and everyone expected that a good temple should be built there and the extra money should be used to serve the poor devotees. But the way the allegations of corruption have come to light, they should be investigated impartially. He also alleged that the role of the people against whom allegations are being made should also be investigated.

Targeting BJP, Rohit Pawar said that the government asks for votes in the name of religion and after coming to power, corruption happens in religious institutions. He also made allegations of corruption in the preparations for Ujjain and Nashik Mahakumbh. Rohit Pawar said that people are very angry with such incidents. We all demand that strict action should be taken against the accused.

He further alleged that BJP has a lot of money and money is being raised at different levels. Referring to the Shaktipeeth Marg project, he said that there is also a possibility of corruption worth Rs 40 thousand crores.

Rohit Pawar said that the people involved in the Ram Mandir trust have filled their houses and bought properties. The donated money has been used for personal gain. He said, “There should never be selfishness in religion, but there is selfishness in BJP’s Hindutva.”
