Ruckus in AAP! Raghav Chadha was beaten like a cock in Kejriwal's house, Haryana leader said shocking thing

The controversy over the removal of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha is continuously increasing. Former state president of AAP in Haryana, Naveen Jaihind has made serious allegations against the party leaders. In a video statement, Jai Hind claimed that Raghav Chadha was called to Kejriwal’s “Sheesh Mahal” (the official residence of the Chief Minister) in Delhi, forced to become a “cock” (a tense body posture) and beaten up. The physical attack reportedly took place in the presence of four other leaders. Jaihind further alleged that Raghav’s eye was injured during the beating. Raghav had gone to England specifically for the treatment of this injury. However, the public was led to believe that Raghav had gone to England to celebrate his honeymoon. Jaihind insisted that Raghav should now come forward and disclose all these incidents fully and openly.

Addressing a press conference in Rohtak on Saturday, Naveen Jaihind said that a rift has existed between Kejriwal and Raghav for the last two years. He claimed that Kejriwal himself had appointed Raghav Chadha as the “Shadow CM” of Punjab and sent him there. Raghav was reportedly assigned the task of collecting funds from Punjab. While these funds were supposed to be sent to Singapore, they were instead sent to England—a discrepancy that reportedly led to a dispute between the two leaders. Jaihind alleged that Raghav is aware of Kejriwal’s secrets and has control over his financial assets, and the entire ongoing controversy revolves around these two factors. Meanwhile, after being removed from the post of deputy leader, Raghav Chadha also released a video statement on Saturday, in which he said: “Three allegations have been made against me, as a result of which I am not being given the opportunity to speak in Parliament. I did not go to Parliament to create ruckus, shout, break mics or use abusive language; rather, I went there to raise issues of public concern.”

Here is what Naveen Jaihind said about Raghav Chaddha:

**Raghav is the keeper of secrets and wealth:** Naveen Jaihind released a two-minute video statement. Right from the start, he portrayed Raghav Chaddha as a man who has both huge wealth and sensitive secrets. He challenged Raghav to tell the truth—that he was called to Arvind Kejriwal’s “Sheesh Mahal”, forced to become a “rooster” and beaten up. He raised the question why Raghav was hiding this information from the public.
**Tell the identities of those four people:** Jaihind demanded that Raghav tell everyone the identities of the four people who were present in the room when he was being beaten. He alleged that Raghav was being interrogated about a specific financial transaction. He claimed that Raghav kept crying throughout the entire incident, yet not a single person present there helped him or stood by him. Tell us why you went to England: At the end of the video, Jaihind said that Raghav is a big name; They should show some courage. “If you talk so much in the Rajya Sabha, then talk about this also. Tell us why you went to England; people are speculating that you went with your wife. The poor guy got his eyes treated with great difficulty.”

Jaihind says: “I left the party of my own free will”

*Dainik Bhaskar* app team spoke to Naveen Jaihind after his claims of assaulting Raghav Chaddha. Jaihind told that this incident of assault with Raghav Chadha happened sometime in 2024. This matter was before the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. He further said that he would soon reveal the identity of the four people who were present there when Raghav was being beaten. When asked if he had faced a similar situation while leaving the party, Jaihind asserted, “No one has the courage to do this to me. When I became disillusioned with politics, I left the party of my own free will.”

Joined Anna Hazare’s movement in 2011

Naveen Jaihind, a resident of Rohtak, was associated with Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement in 2011. When Arvind Kejriwal founded the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Naveen Jaihind was one of its founding members. He was entrusted with the responsibility of building the party’s base in Haryana. It was during Anna Hazare’s movement that he met Swati Maliwal (AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP), and the couple married on January 23, 2013.

Contested elections in 2014; Became state president in 2016

In 2016, Naveen Jaihind was appointed state president of Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana. Under his leadership, the party organized several protests across the state. He also contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Rohtak constituency, but ultimately lost. Gradually, differences began to emerge between Jaihind and the central leadership of AAP. He alleged that the party has now been monopolized by only one person.
