Ayodhya, June 13 (IANS). After the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the Uttar Pradesh government in the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation amount case, the Sant Samaj and various religious saints have welcomed this decision. Arya Sant Varun Das Maharaj said that due to continuous news and various types of information regarding donation amount, a situation of confusion was being created in the Hindu society. In such a situation, it was necessary to resolve this matter quickly.
He told IANS that the formation of SIT by the government is a positive step. Ram Temple is not just a religious place, but a symbol of the identity of Hindu tradition and culture. It is the center of faith for millions of Hindus around the world, hence an impartial investigation of any matter related to it is very important.
Mahant of Siddha Peeth Hanumangarhi, Dr. Deveshcharya Ji Maharaj also congratulated the Uttar Pradesh government and said that the government has taken cognizance of the matter and constituted SIT, which is a commendable step. The news being spread by some anti-social and misleading elements should also be investigated, so that the truth can be fully revealed.
Mahant Sitaram Das Ji Maharaj said that Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust itself had demanded the formation of SIT from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the government. The government has accepted this demand and constituted an investigation team, which is welcome. He said that the investigation process should be completely transparent and fair. The faith of any person, especially the followers of Sanatan Dharma, should not be hurt.
Former Babri Masjid plaintiff Iqbal Ansari also called the formation of SIT a right step. He said that this matter related to Ayodhya and Lord Ram has become a topic of discussion not only in the country but in the whole world. The truth of the questions raised regarding alleged irregularities in the donation amount will now be revealed through investigation. He expressed confidence that all the facts will become clear through the SIT investigation.
Mahant Anirudh Dev Das Ji Maharaj of Janaki Raman Kunj said that the government has acted very quickly and formed the SIT. Describing it as a commendable step, he said that the Hindu public was hurt by the allegations of alleged scam regarding the holy pilgrimage site like Ram Temple. Now if SIT investigates, the truth will come out in front of everyone.
