Secret deal between BJP and TMC... Owaisi's sensational allegation on Mamata Banerjee and PM Modi, political stir in Bengal

As the dates of West Bengal Assembly elections are getting closer, the political atmosphere is becoming more heated. All the political parties are currently fully engaged in election campaigning for their respective candidates. In the same context, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday launched a scathing attack on both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief—and current Chief Minister—Mamata Banerjee. Owaisi claimed that PM Modi and Mamata Banerjee are two sides of the same coin. He made these allegations while addressing a public meeting in Raghunathganj assembly constituency of Murshidabad.

‘Prime Minister Modi and Mamata are two sides of the same coin’
Addressing the public meeting, Owaisi said, “When a video surfaced, I had announced that the Majlis will not tolerate any compromise related to the interests of the Muslims of Bengal. Tell me, Mamata Banerjee and TMC: Did you not support BJP? Prime Minister Modi and Mamata are two sides of the same coin. Prime Minister Modi and Mamata are like brother and sister. Mamata had claimed that she will not implement the Waqf law in Bengal, but she did it only to get your votes. Lied for.” The development comes after TMC released a ‘sting video’ on Twitter, in which AJUP chief Humayun Kabir is purportedly seen claiming that he has struck a deal worth ₹1,000 crore. AIMIM said that this incident has increased concerns about the dignity of the Muslim community.

grave injustice to Muslims
Alleging discrimination against Muslims in West Bengal, Asaduddin Owaisi claimed that grave injustice has been done to the community. “Gross injustice has been done to the Muslim minorities of Bengal. People appeal to you to maintain secularism. Is it not true that when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister of this country (in the 1960s), about 40,000 Muslims from this very Bengal were issued notices—or were thrown out of the country?”

‘Chakka Jam’ organized in Kolkata demanding justice for Murshidabad
He promised to implement minimum wage policy for women engaged in beedi making. He said that minimum wage policy will be implemented for our mothers and sisters who earn their livelihood by making beedis. Last year, the Calcutta High Court had canceled 5 lakh OBC certificates; Of these, 3.5 lakh certificates belonged to members of the Muslim community. Whatever development takes place in West Bengal, it remains completely limited to Kolkata. He announced that for the sake of justice for Murshidabad, he would hold a ‘chakka jam’ (road blockade) in Kolkata.
