Lucknow, June 22 (IANS). Congress Party spokesperson Surendra Rajput has targeted MP Shashi Tharoor. On praising Kashmir, Surendra Rajput said that if Shashi Tharoor did not see the terrorist incident of Pahalgam, then he has some international illusion.
Actually, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had recently met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. After this, in his social media post he talked about the situation and normalcy in the state.
On this, the Congress spokesperson said, “Whoever is the MP, he has to follow the ideology of the party. If Shashi Tharoor did not see the terrorist incident of Pahalgam, then he has got some international illusion. He may have given a statement to put forth his point at the international level, but you will definitely remember the incident of Pahalgam.”
Surendra Rajput further said, “The Pahalgam incident happened during the BJP rule. Are these symbols of peace after the abrogation of 370? Jammu and Kashmir does not have the status of a full state. The Chief Minister there is just working like a mayor. Don’t you want the status of a full state?”
He further said, “Shashi Tharoor should talk to the leadership and in the interests of the Kashmiri people. Keep his international illusions to international levels only.”
Meanwhile, on Nitin Naveen’s claims of forming the BJP government in Punjab, Congress spokesperson said, “Government can be formed anywhere in a democracy, but BJP is so adept that it can form the government even today without fighting. The way TMC and Shiv Sena MPs were broken, in the same way the government can be formed in Punjab by breaking the MLAs. The truth is that BJP has crushed democracy.”
The Congress spokesperson also responded to Asaduddin Owaisi’s letter to Home Minister Amit Shah. He said, “Owaisi, how much you will fool Muslims. If you have courage then go to court and get a stay order, but you yourself are under the protection of BJP. Mosques are being demolished under your protection. However, Congress is fighting against it.”
After Kiren Rijiju’s allegations against Rahul Gandhi regarding Andaman and Nicobar, Congress spokesperson said, “If in the name of the project, you are cutting crores of trees, in the name of the project, you are giving free land there to the industrialists of India and abroad, you are trying to destroy the entire ecosystem there, then definitely Rahul Gandhi had visited to spread awareness about this.”
