Lucknow, June 24 (IANS). Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput targeted BJP while talking on many issues including Ram Mandir donation controversy, Maulan Madani’s Jihad controversy. He said that BJP is doing Hindu-Muslim politics in the country.
On the submission of the report by the SIT formed in connection with the Ram Mandir donation theft case, Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput said, “Submitting the report is not a new thing. The issue is, what is there in that report? People are saying that there are suggestions in the SIT report. Did the SIT go there to give suggestions? Doesn’t Nripendra Mishra know that more cameras should be installed there? The investigation team Ayodhya is only there to save fraudsters, thieves, robbers and dacoits and Had gone to catch the ‘small fishes’. If the BJP people really want to stop the offering thieves, then first file an FIR and remove the officials of BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and 13 Akhara saints from the trust.
At the same time, on Maulana Arshad Madani’s statement that every Muslim should do Jihad, the Congress spokesperson said, “Jihad is an Islamic word, which is used as a religion for spiritual purity. Jihad is not a bad word, it is done for the purification of the soul. Like religious war, Jihad is also a word. During the BJP rule, the word Jihad is being misinterpreted. BJP is using Maulana to create differences between Hindus and Muslims. She is giving importance to Madani’s statements.”
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has decided to launch a nationwide campaign against the social and political marginalization of Muslims and the demolition of mosques and madrassas. On this, Congress spokesperson Surendra said, “Hindus and Muslims are happening in the country. Temples are being discovered under the mosques, there is talk of hoisting flags on the tombs. DJ is being played in front of the mosques. People of Muslim community are being killed in the name of cow slaughter. Not only Muslims, the entire country should raise their voice against this injustice. People of all communities should raise their voice unitedly against the atrocities being committed against any religion.”
On the anger of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the protest being held at Jantar Mantar, the Congress spokesperson said, “Resignation is being sought, Dharmendra Pradhan will definitely get angry because his resignation is being sought. Dharmendra Pradhan should be ashamed of even coming among the public. Dharmendra Pradhan should have resigned on moral grounds after the NEET papers were leaked, but he is clinging to his post.
