Tejashwi targeted NDA government, asked why Bihar is backward

Patna, March 12 (IANS). National Working President of RJD and Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday strongly targeted the double engine government of NDA and asked why Bihar is lagging behind on all parameters of development during the 21 years of NDA government.

He released a list on social media on Thursday morning. Where did Bihar move ahead and where did it lag behind? What did NDA do in 21 years? Tejashwi Yadav gave answers to all these questions to the public through this list.

He wrote on social media that Bihar is a unique and unique state where NDA has had a double-engine government for decades. In the list he said – Bihar is the poorest state in the country, highest migration in the country, highest crime in the country, highest corruption in the country, highest unemployment in the country, highest multidimensional poverty in the country, highest school drop out in the country, lowest literacy rate in the country, lowest per capita income in the country.

He further wrote, “Lowest farmer income in the country – Bihar, lowest per capita investment in the country – Bihar, lowest per capita consumption in the country – Bihar, lowest computer literacy in the country – Bihar, lowest electricity consumption in the country – Bihar, lowest infrastructure facility in the country – Bihar.”

Describing Bihar as ‘ahead’, he said, “Bihar is ahead in buying expensive gas, Bihar is ahead in buying expensive electricity, Bihar is ahead in buying expensive petrol and diesel and Bihar is ahead in buying expensive property and land than Delhi-Mumbai.”

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav further wrote that in the 21 years of NDA government, Bihar has lagged behind in all standards, norms and indices of development, but no one is ever held accountable on these shameful facts and rankings. With the help of back-and-forth, administrative machinery, vote buying from the government treasury, vote looting and casteism, people with so-called good governance are enjoying power.
