Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that the biggest value of Sanatan Dharma is to express gratitude to the doer.

He was speaking at the Gorakhnath Temple at the conclusion of the 56th death anniversary of Mahant Digvijaynath Maharaj and the concluding one of Mahant Avidyanath Maharaj’s 11th death anniversary, where he paid tribute to Mahant Awidyanath.
Recalling the dialogue between Lord Hanuman and the Mountains of Manak in the Ramayana, the Chief Minister said, “Kriti ch dutyam esha: Sanatan (expressing gratitude to the doer is our eternal duty) This feeling has arisen from the Sanatan tradition.”
He said that the entire “Ashwin Krishna Paksha” is dedicated to remembering the ancestors and expressing gratitude to them and the memory of both the Mahants is the continuity of the same tradition.
According to the statement, Adityanath said that the two Mahants dedicated their lives to Sanatan Dharma and the interests of India in every sphere of society and public life.
He said that Mahant Digvijaynath gave the values of Sanatan Dharma, Education, Service and Nationalism, which was adopted by Mahant Avedyanath and carried forward with equal commitment.
For religion and nation, both always gave the top priority to these principles. Gorakshpeethadheeshwar Adityanath said, “Gorakshpeeth is continuously following his path.”
