Two weeks of yoga training program started for soldiers in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, 17 September (IANS). For the brave soldiers posted in Along region of Arunachal Pradesh, the Spear Corps of the Army has started a special two weeks of yoga training program. The program starts from 15 September, which will run till 27 September, whose information was given by Defense Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mahendra Rawat on Wednesday.

He said that the purpose of this program is to promote the complete health and mental strength of the soldiers so that they can perform better even in difficult circumstances. The patience, concentration and tolerance of soldiers is being increased through yoga.

Lieutenant Colonel Rawat said that this training has been prepared especially keeping in mind the inaccessible areas of Arunachal Pradesh and the challenges of the weather. Training sessions are being run by trained yoga trainers, designed according to the physical and mental needs of the soldiers.

The focus of this training is not only on physical fitness, but also on mental peace, emotional stability and spiritual balance. The army’s statement said that yoga is the learning of Indian tradition, which is a symbol of discipline and self-control.

Yoga practice establishes harmony between body, mind and soul. This can lead to stable even during operational stress, recover from fatigue quickly and gain internal strength for hard military functions.

Training includes exercises based on physical postures, techniques of attention and breathing control.

Lieutenant Colonel Rawat said that this two -week program will have a long positive impact on the soldiers and will bring their mental and physical ability to new heights.
