Paschim Medinipur, July 12 (IANS). Dilip Ghosh, a minister in the West Bengal government, has reacted to the formation of a committee for the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state. He said that UCC will soon be implemented in Bengal and the draft is being prepared keeping the tribal community in mind. During this, Dilip Ghosh gave his reply on the topic of industry in West Bengal.
On UCC, Dilip Ghosh said, “The Uniform Civil Code law was bound to be implemented. It is just a matter of time and it will be implemented very soon. At many places, there are different laws for the tribal community. The bill is being drafted keeping this in mind. Whatever is necessary will be done accordingly.”
Regarding investment in Bengal, Dilip Ghosh said, “Many people are coming to West Bengal to set up industries. Efforts are on to make the system easier to make it happen quickly. Permission will be given to those setting up industries in Bengal without any delay, so that the work can start without any delay.”
He said that everything is pending for the last 10 years. The land is lying. The government will make all kinds of arrangements for those who come to work, so that the industry can start quickly. Dilip Ghosh said, “Many industries in West Bengal were making efforts here for a long time, but they were stopped in the previous government.”
Dilip Ghosh told that some people have started their industries under the present government. Many people are in line, who are meeting to set up industries here. Soon work regarding industry will start in Bengal.
Regarding TMC, Minister Dilip Ghosh said, “Every day a new drama is seen in Trinamool Congress. The public has placed TMC in the opposition. Now it should fulfill the responsibility equally.”
On the ‘Martyrs’ Day’ rally on July 21, Dilip Ghosh said, “The Martyrs’ Day on July 21 is basically Congress’s day but it was ‘hijacked’ by Mamata Banerjee. Many people made sacrifices on this day. We pay tribute to all the people. This day is for everyone but it is not right for any party to single-handedly capture it.”
