Lucknow, June 3 (IANS). In order to sharpen the preparations for the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and further strengthen the coordination between the organization and the government, the Yogi government has made a major reshuffle in the districts of the ministers in charge. In the new list, important responsibilities have been assigned to former BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and senior minister Manoj Pandey.

In this change issued after the cabinet expansion, the charges of many senior ministers have been changed, while an attempt has been made to balance regional and social equations by giving the responsibility of important districts to the new ministers. According to the new list, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has been made in-charge of Agra and Kasganj. Meanwhile, Food and Logistics and Civil Supplies Minister Manoj Pandey has been given the responsibility of Sitapur district.

According to the released list, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has been made in-charge of Varanasi and Lucknow, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi of Ayodhya and Basti, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh has been made in-charge of Prayagraj and Gorakhpur.

Women Welfare Minister Baby Rani Maurya has got the responsibility of Etawah and Hathras, Sugarcane Development Minister Lakshmi Narayan Choudhary has got the responsibility of Aligarh and Firozabad and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh has got the responsibility of Jhansi and Farrukhabad.

Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh has been given the charge of Ghaziabad and Rampur, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ of Mirzapur and Chitrakoot, Labor Minister Anil Rajbhar of Azamgarh and Siddharthnagar and Khadi and Village Industries Minister Rakesh Sachan has been given the charge of Rae Bareli and Kannauj.

Urban Development Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma has got the responsibility of Jaunpur and Bhadohi. Apart from this, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay has been made in-charge of Kanpur Nagar, Technical Education Minister Ashish Patel has been made in-charge of Gonda, Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad of Kanpur Dehat and Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar of Ambedkar Nagar.

The government has strengthened the system of monitoring the schemes at the grassroots level by giving independent charge and responsibility of the districts to the ministers of state. Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal has been given the charge of Lakhimpur Kheri, Vocational Education Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal of Bijnor, Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh of Mathura, Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi of Amroha and Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav of Sultanpur.

Among the ministers of state, Aseem Arun has been given the charge of Hardoi and Meerut, JPS Rathore of Sambhal and Bareilly, Dayashankar Singh of Deoria and Mau, Dinesh Pratap Singh of Banda and Bahraich and Arun Kumar Saxena of Badaun. At the same time, Somendra Tomar has got the responsibility of Muzaffarnagar, Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh of Pratapgarh, Dinesh Khatik of Shamli, Sanjeev Gond of Chandauli and Baldev Singh Aulakh of Pilibhit.

Analysts say that under the new system, the government has assigned the responsibility of the districts to the ministers keeping in mind the regional balance, organizational strength and effective monitoring of the schemes. Political analysts believe that this reshuffle is part of the government’s strategic preparation in view of the upcoming electoral and administrative challenges.
