New Delhi, July 11 (IANS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain presented his party’s side on many issues including Vande Mataram, Bihar Assembly by-election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia and the situation of Punjab Congress.
Speaking to news agency IANS, Shahnawaz Hussain said that Vande Mataram should get the first place and it should be sung with full respect, pride and love. Advisory has been issued regarding singing Vande Mataram. According to him, this system is already implemented in Bihar and it will be implemented in other places also.
In the context of Madhya Pradesh Assembly by-election, on the question of BJP leader Narottam Mishra not getting the ticket from Datia seat, Shahnawaz Hussain said that no leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party has any personal right on the ticket nor is anyone’s ticket cut. The party selects candidates according to a set process. He expressed confidence that the BJP candidate will win with an overwhelming majority in Datia.
Referring to Bankipur Assembly seat, he said that initially Abhishek Bunty was made the BJP candidate, but due to family reasons he expressed his inability to contest the elections. After this the party declared Neeraj Sinha as its candidate. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate will also win the Bankipur seat with a huge majority.
Taking aim at Punjab Congress, Shahnawaz Hussain said that Congress is divided not only into two groups but into many parts. He alleged that there is opposition within the party against Rahul Gandhi’s decisions. He said that the future of Congress in Punjab is weak, while BJP will strengthen its position. He also claimed that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party will continue to fight among themselves over the role of leader of the opposition.
Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia, the BJP leader described it as very successful. He said that the presence of more than 30 thousand people at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium is a proof of the global popularity of Prime Minister Modi. According to him, this tour has further strengthened India-Australia relations. He said that Prime Minister Modi appealed for peace in West Asia and gave a message to the world to end war.
