Raipur, 22 December (IANS). Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed grief over the extremely inhuman and tragic incident that happened with Ramnarayan Baghel, a migrant laborer from Chhattisgarh, in Palakkad district of Kerala.
The Chief Minister said that such violence against any innocent citizen is shameful for a civilized society and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

He further wrote in the ‘X’ post, “I have announced an assistance amount of Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family in this case. The family members have been immediately sent to Kerala and arrangements have been made to bring Ramnarayan’s mortal remains to his home village with respect. The mortal remains will be brought to Chhattisgarh by air on Tuesday.”
CM Sai said through ‘X’ post that I request the Kerala government to ensure that strictest legal action is taken against all the culprits involved in this heinous crime so that such incidents are not repeated in future.
The Chief Minister assured that the Chhattisgarh government stands strongly with the victim’s family. After CM Sai’s statement, it is hoped that strict action will be taken against the culprits and the victim’s family will get justice.
Let us tell you that suspecting the wrong identity of Ramnarayan Baghel, the mob beat him to death. He was brutally murdered in Palakkad district of Kerala, considering him to be a Bangladeshi infiltrator.
