Mumbai, June 22 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has suffered a major blow when 6 of his rebel MPs joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Eknath Shinde said that ‘Operation Tiger’ was successful.

While talking to the media, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said, ‘I have said everything in the press conference. ‘Operation Tiger’ was successful.

Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde said that Operation Tiger was successful. I would like to welcome all the six MPs into the Shiv Sena family. With his arrival, the strength of Shiv Sena has increased significantly.

Minister Shambhuraj Desai said that the MPs who have come today should not be called rebels. He has adopted a role. These people wanted to work for two and a half years for the problems of their constituency and for the public welfare works which they had promised during the elections, but the leadership of their party did not support them. On this he decided to come under the leadership of Shinde for the welfare of the people of the Lok Sabha constituencies. We welcome. We will work to expand Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad said that everyone is worried about their political security. They have to serve the public in future. What will they do if the party leaders do not talk to them? With the arrival of these six people, our Shiv Sena is becoming the number one party at the central level in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena has now emerged as the number one party in terms of number of MPs.

NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui said that I just want to say that if any representative is not happy in his party, because he is not getting a chance to speak or put forward his point, or he is not able to reach the top leadership, then obviously he will go there where he will be heard.
