Women of Bihar will have to ensure that RJD and its allies never return to power: Prime Minister Modi's attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and said that under his rule, the women of Bihar had to suffer a lot. At the same time, he called upon the women to ensure that Lalu Prasad -led party and its associates never return to power in this state.

Modi was addressing the women of Bihar online after launching ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ through a video conference from Delhi. Under this scheme, 75 lakh women of the state were given 10-10 thousand rupees for livelihood activities.

The Prime Minister said, “The women of Bihar had to suffer a lot under RJD rule… There were no roads, law and order was very bad … but now women in Nitish Kumar’s government feel safe because the rule of law is maintained. Therefore, they have to ensure that the RJD and his colleagues never return to power. ”

Emphasizing the efforts being made by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government for women empowerment in Bihar, the Prime Minister said that soon there will be the most ‘Lakhpati Didi’ in the country in the state.He informed that 75 lakh beneficiaries of this scheme will also be given training up to Rs 2 lakh and training to improve entrepreneurship skills.

The Prime Minister said, “Today your two brothers, Nitish and Modi are constantly working for your prosperity and self -respect. Today’s program is also an example of this.

Modi said that the Ujjwala scheme, 8.5 crore people of Bihar free ration and initiatives like Ayushman Bharat have improved the lives of residents of the state.

The introduction of this new scheme is considered very important before the assembly elections in Bihar, as women have a major stake in the voter group in the state. Assembly elections are to be held in the state later this year.
