New Delhi, January 31 (IANS). BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia said that infiltration of Rohingya and Bangladeshi citizens is becoming a matter of serious concern for the country. He alleged that a large number of people are entering India through the border of West Bengal and Assam.
Yogendra Chandolia told IANS, “Whether the Rohingyas come via West Bengal or the Assam border, most of the country’s borders have been secured and are being sealed, but because of Mamata Banerjee, movement continues through the nearly 600 km long border of West Bengal.”
He said that such people (be they Rohingya or Bangladeshi citizens) should be expelled from India so that the demographic imbalance in the country can be stopped.
During this, he also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Chandolia said that Rahul Gandhi takes decisions as per his own free will, but he not only did not respect the Gamcha of Assam but also insulted the President. Rahul Gandhi has ignored the people of North East.
He said, “I feel that this political decision will not be in their interest. No one has the right to insult anyone. The people of the North East will not tolerate insulting the President.”
In fact, at the President’s at-home event, Rahul Gandhi was the only person who did not wear the Gamosa of Assam, while everyone present at the Rashtrapati Bhavan wore it. BJP is linking it to the insult to the North-East.
Yogendra Chandolia also gave his reaction regarding the Union General Budget. He said that the whole country is expecting from the upcoming budget and people want that this budget should bring new gifts for them.
Praising the previous budget, he said that it was welfare-oriented and had given great relief to the common people. He reminded that in the last budget the income tax limit was increased to Rs 12 lakh, which greatly benefited the middle class.
The BJP MP said that this time too the public is confident that the government will present a budget which will help in the development of the country as well as improve the lives of common citizens.
