Adani Group News: Bhoomi pujan of Adani Cement Plant in Guna. An investment of ₹1,060 crore will provide employment to 1,500 people. Pranab Adani shared the vision in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Today a new chapter has been added in the industrial development of the state. The Bhoomi Pujan of the grinding unit of ‘Adani Cement’ was completed in the dignified presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. On this occasion, Pranab Adani, MD, Adani Ports, shared the group’s big vision for the development of the state.
The biggest investment in the history of Guna
Addressing the function, Pranab Adani said that this project is not just a cement plant but an important participation in the progress of Madhya Pradesh.
He announced that more than ₹1,060 crore would be invested in this plant, which is the largest investment ever in the history of Guna district. This project will be completed in two phases, with an annual capacity of 40 lakh metric tonnes. Its first phase is targeted to start by 2028.
New door to employment and revenue
This step of Adani Group will open the doors of prosperity for the local youth. This unit will provide direct and indirect employment to about 1,500 people. Also, this project will contribute more than ₹6,000 crore to the state exchequer in future. Praising the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Pranab Adani said that the state’s GDP is estimated to cross ₹ 15 lakh crore by the year 2025, as a result of his visionary policies.
Step towards the promise of ₹1.10 lakh crore
It is noteworthy that in the Bhopal Investor Summit, Group Chairman Gautam Adani had promised an investment of ₹ 1,10,000 crore for Madhya Pradesh. This plant in Guna is a big step towards implementing the same promise.
Adani Group is also working rapidly in sectors like hydro pump storage, mining and green energy in the state, which will create 1.20 lakh new jobs by 2030.
Many senior government officials including Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar and Food Minister Govind Singh Rajput were present at the ceremony.
