Raipur, May 15 (IANS). The 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council will be held on May 19 in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. The meeting will be presided over by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh will attend the meeting. Regarding the preparations for the meeting, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai held a high-level review meeting at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan on Friday. During this, the officials gave information to the Chief Minister about various topics to be raised in the council meeting through presentation. The Chief Minister reviewed all the points in detail and gave necessary directions.
While handing over different responsibilities to senior administrative officials, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that there should be no lack of any kind in the preparations for the event. He directed to ensure all arrangements with better coordination and seriousness. The Chief Minister said that the role of Central Regional Council states is very important in building a developed India. He said that this is such a regional council in the country where there is no dispute of any kind between the member states and this is a great example of mutual cooperation and coordination.
He said that regional councils have become an effective platform to strengthen communication, cooperation and coordination between the states and the central government. Only strong states create a strong nation and with this thinking, regional councils are giving a new direction to development, administrative coordination and national unity. Chief Minister Sai said that in the last few years, these councils have played an important role in promoting cooperation and development-oriented thinking among the states.
He said that organizing this important meeting in Bastar is a matter of pride for the state. Organizing a national meeting of this level after establishing peace in Bastar shows that the state government is fully committed to the development and new possibilities of the region. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that efforts to eradicate Naxal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have established peace in the region and now Bastar is moving on the new path of development. He expressed confidence that Bastar will write a new story of development from the land of Indravati and this meeting of the Central Regional Council will give a new impetus to the development of the region.
