Bhupesh Baghel: Senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel made a scathing attack on BJP while mentioning Jharkhand regarding Rajya Sabha elections. He said that BJP does not have a candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections from Jharkhand.
While talking to the media in New Delhi, senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel said that two Rajya Sabha members are to come from Jharkhand. There is one candidate from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the other from Congress, while there are two candidates from our alliance.
Bhupesh Baghel made serious allegations against BJP
Bharatiya Janata Party has not fielded any candidate, whereas it has 21 MLAs and has fielded an industrialist, who is being supported by BJP. Bharatiya Janata Party does not have any candidate. Under the leadership of CM Hemant Soren, both Baijnath and Pranab Jha have filed nominations in the presence of people from all parties, people from RJD, people from MLA, Congress people and all the leaders.
Claim of unity of India Block made
Responding to BJP MP Sambit Patra’s press conference regarding the India Block meeting, Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel said that BJP and its government should pay attention to the rising prices of LPG as well as the rising cost of petrol and diesel and their shortage. Attention should also be given to farmers. Monsoon has arrived, yet they are short of essential items, neither urea nor seeds are available to them. As far as the opposition is concerned, we are fulfilling our responsibilities properly under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi. The main issues are related to farmers and youth. The BJP government has not been able to conduct a single examination successfully in the last twelve years. They should pay attention to these matters and the issues raised by us. Sambit Patra should stop making empty statements.
