Ranchi, June 6 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Nitin Naveen said in Ranchi on Friday that Jharkhand was created as a separate state by the BJP government and only BJP will make it the dream state of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Addressing the ‘Enlightened Citizen Dialogue’ program organized at the Carnival Banquet Hall in Dibdih, Ranchi, Nitin Naveen said that BJP has shown development, good governance and public welfare on the ground. He said that the Modi government has worked to bring 25 crore people out of the poverty line, provide free food grains to 80 crore people and provide health security to crores of families through the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Referring to the goal of Developed India-2047 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National President of BJP said that it can be achieved only with the cooperation of all sections. He said that the benefits of government schemes are reaching the people directly through the Central Government’s Jan Dhan Yojana and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The central government is working towards increasing the income of farmers, encouraging organic farming and making the youth employment creators instead of employment.
He claimed that more than two lakh startups and more than 125 unicorns in the country are proof of India’s growing entrepreneurship. Referring to the government’s work towards women empowerment, he said that the government has achieved the target of creating three crore ‘Lakhpati Didis’. The National President of BJP said that in the beginning of Digital India, the opposition had made fun of it, but today India is among the leading countries of the world in the field of digital payments.
He said that whenever the opposition made fun of the BJP, the public supported the party more. On the issue of national security, he said that the Modi government will not compromise with the country’s security. Referring to the action against Naxalism, self-reliance in defense sector and increase in defense exports, he said that India is in a stronger position at the global level today. Nitin Naveen said that the government has also done important work in the cultural and educational fields through Ram Temple, Kashi Corridor, new AIIMS, Medical College, IIT and Eklavya Vidyalaya.
He called upon the youth to participate in positive politics and nation building. BJP State President Aditya Sahu also addressed the program. He said that after the year 2014, there have been extensive changes in the direction of development and public welfare in the country and participation of all sections of the society is necessary to achieve the goal of Developed India-2047. Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi and many intellectuals, educationists, doctors, industrialists and social workers were present in the programme.

A huge crowd of devotees participated in the Bhasma Aarti organized in the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple on the occasion of Saptami of Jyeshtha Adhikama Krishna Paksha in the early hours of Sunday. Thousands of devotees reached the temple since early morning to take part in the divine darshan of Baba Mahakal and the Bhasma Aarti. The temple complex echoed with the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Mahakal’ and the entire atmosphere became devotional.
