Himachal landslide: There has been a huge loss in Nainadevi assembly constituency of Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh due to cloudburst last night. More than 10 vehicles in Namhol were buried in the debris. Many houses have also been damaged here. After heavy rains, many farmers’ lands have also been washed away due to landslides in many places.
Landslide havoc in the morning
Apart from this, a big landslide occurred at 4 am in Sapri Roh village of Dharampur in Mandi district. This has posed a threat to many homes. After heavy rains, a large quantity of debris came to the village at night. After which 8 houses were immediately evacuated. There is panic among the people of the area due to this dangerous situation.
Warning of rain continues in 10 districts
At the same time, many parts of Bilaspur, Kangra and Mandi received heavy rains overnight. Today and tomorrow too, a warning of heavy rain has been issued by the Meteorological Department for 10 districts. An alert has been issued in all the districts except Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti. During this time, heavy rains are expected in most areas. With this, it is being told that there will be a slight change in the monsoon from September 15, after which there is no rain alert till 17 September.
How much it rained this season
According to the information, this season received 43 percent more rainfall than normal. Between June 1 and September 12, normal rainfall is 678.4 mm, but this time it has received 967.2 mm of rain. From 1 to 12 September, 133 percent more rainfall than normal. During this period, the normal rainfall has received 150.4 mm of rainfall compared to 64.6 mm. Kullu district received 363 per cent from normal, 256 per cent in Solan, 241 per cent in Una and 231 per cent higher than normal in Shimla.
