Uttarakhand news: The first meeting of the state level direction committee was held at the Secretariat, Dehradun on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. On this occasion, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of various ambitious schemes of the state government and the central government. In the meeting, the proceedings of schemes related to agriculture, rural development, urban development, health, education, women and child development, employment, social security, digital technology, environment and sports were discussed in detail.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the implementation of the schemes, so that more and more people can get the benefit soon. He said that transparency, transparency, accountability and mutual coordination between departments are very important in the operation of schemes. The Chief Minister specially emphasized that concrete and meaningful steps are being taken continuously to bring the state into the category of the country’s leading states and no laxity will be acceptable in it.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that modern digital technology should be used maximum for monitoring and successful operation of schemes in the technological age. He said that ensuring quick availability and accountability of information will improve a significant improvement in the pace of plan implementation. It is necessary to make coordinated efforts by all departments to provide real advantage of schemes to farmers, poor, women and youth.
During the discussion on agriculture and energy sector, the Chief Minister directed to speed up the pace of installation of solar energy -based pumps under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana. He said that this will not only make farmers accessible to the means of irrigation, but will also provide energy self -sufficiency by the use of solar energy. Also, it will be an important step towards environmental protection.
The Chief Minister directed to provide road facilities to the remaining villages under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He said that road connectivity is the cornerstone of the development of any region, and this is necessary for the expansion of the facilities and economic opportunities of people living in inaccessible areas of the state.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of areas like health, education and employment generation. The Chief Minister said that the expansion of quality education and health services is among the highest priorities of the state government. He instructed the officials to implement skill development, self -employment and entrepreneurship schemes for youth and women more effectively, so that every citizen of the state can improve the standard of living.
The Chief Minister said that for the success of the schemes, active participation of public representatives and local people is very important for the success of the schemes. He expected the officials to share the progress of schemes by regularly communicate with public representatives and benefit people more and more from them. The Chief Minister said that the first priority of the government is the convenience and comfort of the public, and to achieve this goal, all departments will have to work with full responsibility and commitment.
Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Naresh Bansal, Dr. Kalpana Saini, MLAs Mr. Sahadev Singh Pundir, Mrs. Renu Bisht, Mr. Suresh Garhia, Mr. Shaktilal Shah, Mr. Shaktilal Shah, Mr. Harish Dhami and Mr. Manoj Tiwari were present in the meeting. Apart from this, Principal Secretary Shri L. Fainai, Special Principal Secretary Mr. Amit Sinha, Secretary Mrs. Radhika Jha, Mr. Nitesh Jha, Mr. BVRC Purushottam, Shri S.N. Pandey, Mr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Mr. Dheeraj Garbiyal, Mr. Sridhar Babu Adarnaki, Shri Yugal Kishore Pant, Mr. Ranveer Singh Chauhan and Head of Departments of various departments also attended the meeting.
