Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated the fast of Karva Chauth with traditional devotion and enthusiasm with his wife Smt. Geeta Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence today. The Chief Minister couple performed puja as per the rituals and prayed to Lord Shiva and Parvati for the happiness, peace, health and prosperity of all the people of the state.
By offering Arghya to the Moon at night, Mrs. Geeta Dhami along with Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami concluded the fast of Karva Chauth as per the rituals.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on Karva Chauth. The Chief Minister said, “Karva Chauth is a festival symbolizing the unwavering faith, love, sacrifice and dedication of Indian women. This festival further strengthens the thread of trust, love and unity in family life. The place of women in our culture is paramount and festivals like Karva Chauth keep the beautiful tradition of our cultural life alive.”
The Chief Minister wished that this festival brings happiness, prosperity and harmony in everyone’s life.
