Deoria News: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that no one can create disturbance in the festive atmosphere in UP. If anyone does this, he will suffer for seven generations. During the rule of SP and Congress, Uttar Pradesh was infamous for mafias and riots. Remember, in 2016, the same Madanpur police station was looted and set on fire.
The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering on Friday after inaugurating/laying the foundation stone of 106 development projects costing more than Rs 456 crore in Rudrapur and Barhaj assembly constituencies of Deoria. He also distributed certificates and checks of assistance amount to 10 beneficiaries of various schemes. Saluting the land of Deoria, the CM said that he has the good fortune of visiting that holy land situated between Rudrapur and Barhaj assembly, which is blessed by great personalities like Baba Dukhaharnath, Baba Mahendranath, Maharishi Devraha Baba and Baba Raghavdas. This land preserves spiritual and cultural heritage.

Double engine government changed the picture of Deoria
CM Yogi said that there was a time when the people of Deoria used to wait for years for a bridge and a road, but today the pace of development in the state has completely changed. The roads connecting Padrauna, Kasia, Pathardeva, Deoria, Sonughat, Barhaj, Doharighat with Varanasi and Gorakhpur route are strengthening the east-west connectivity. At the same time, four lane roads till Hata, Gauribazar and Kaudiram will give a new direction to north-south connectivity. Better roads and infrastructure and strong connectivity are the biggest cornerstones of development of any region.
Youth power is the biggest strength of Uttar Pradesh
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has the largest youth power in the world and the government is working to link this power with skills, employment and self-employment. So far, 9 lakh youth have been given government jobs, while 3 crore people have been provided employment and means of livelihood through traditional industries and various schemes. The youth of the state are talented. He can turn the biggest challenge into an opportunity.
Investment and employment increased due to security environment
The Chief Minister said that due to better law and order and security, investment is increasing in the entire Purvanchal including Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar. New industries are being set up and local youth are getting employment. The youth who earlier used to migrate to Mumbai, Surat and Kolkata for jobs, are today getting employment in their own state. The government has provided employment to 65 lakh youth through investment based schemes. The government is continuously working in the interest of farmers. Agricultural production in the state has increased rapidly due to modern agricultural technology, irrigation facilities and expansion of agricultural education. Uttar Pradesh has reached first place in the country in the production of many food grains.
SP attacked on Purvanchal Expressway
Taking aim at the Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister said that during their rule there was corruption in the name of jobs. The uncle-nephew duo and the entire family were busy in recovery. Today all government recruitments are being done on the basis of complete transparency and merit. Thousands of youth of the state including Deoria have got government jobs without any recommendation or bribe. In 2016, SP had issued a tender worth Rs 15,800 crore for Purvanchal Expressway without providing land. After the formation of the BJP government, the land was first acquired and then the tender was done under the new process. By simplifying the technical and financial processes, this expressway was built for approximately Rs 11,200 crore, resulting in a saving of approximately Rs 4 thousand crore. This savings is the result of stopping SP’s dacoity. That is why SP is feeling bad, it is struggling.
Aam Aadmi Party gave corruption and chaos
CM Yogi said that a gentleman from Delhi has reached Ayodhya today. The people of Delhi gave him opportunities for many years, but he got nothing but corruption and chaos. In Ayodhya, the double engine government has developed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Nishadraj Passenger Rest, Mata Shabari Kitchen, four-lane roads and world-class facilities. If the Aam Aadmi Party had done the same justice to Delhi, the picture of the capital would have also changed.
Barhaj will get the benefit of inland waterway
The Chief Minister said that Barhaj was once a major trading center of the region and in future will become an important center of the Inland Waterway Project. From here, farmers’ vegetables, fruits, millets, flowers and other agricultural products will be transported to national and international markets through waterways. The government is continuously working to provide relief from the floods of Rapti and Ghaghra rivers. Road connectivity of villages is being strengthened. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, new houses have been sanctioned to 6.18 lakh poor families. The government is committed to provide permanent house, toilet, Ayushman card and free ration to every poor.
Self-reliance through CM Youth Entrepreneur Scheme
The Chief Minister said that under the Youth Entrepreneur Scheme, interest and guarantee free loans up to Rs 5 lakh are being given to the youth. Referring to the two beneficiaries, he said that today’s youth wants to be not a job seeker but an employment provider. The government is providing all possible assistance to realize his dreams. Appealing to the people to take advantage of the Prime Minister Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme, the CM said that by installing rooftop solar, electricity bills will be significantly reduced and people will also get clean energy. Eastern Uttar Pradesh was once an area affected by encephalitis, but due to the efforts of the government, this disease has been effectively controlled. Now children are safe and daughters are going to school with respect. The government is continuously working in the fields of education, nutrition and health, so that no child is deprived of education and health facilities.
Responsibility given to village heads and public representatives
The Chief Minister appealed to village heads, MLAs and MPs to ensure that no poor remains hungry, no destitute woman is deprived of pension and the benefits of government schemes reach every eligible person. The government has no shortage of resources. The double engine government is working with full commitment for the safety and prosperity of the poor, farmers, youth, women and businessmen.

In the program, the Chief Minister also honored Sangeeta Devi, Gudiya Yadav, Pramod Prasad, Hari Lal, Arvind Tiwari, Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Narendra Kumar Madheshiya, Manju Mishra, Ramesh Tripathi and Jitendra Bahadur Singh by giving them certificates and checks of assistance amount.
