Indore Bus Accident: A horrific road accident took place in Mhow in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday night. In the accident, a passenger bus fell into a ditch about 20 feet deep, in which two women died and many were injured. Police have prima facie considered the negligence of the driver to be the reason for the accident.
Indore Additional SP Rupesh Dwivedi told IANS, “The bus was coming to Indore from Omkareshwar. Due to the negligence of the driver near Khandwa Road, the bus fell into a deep ditch and got stuck among the trees.”
He said, “There were about 40 passengers in the bus. Two women died during this time. All the injured have been taken to the hospital.”
The death of three civilians in an accident due to overturning of a bus between Indore and Mhow is extremely painful.
The Chief Minister has given instructions to give Rs 2 lakh each as a voluntary donation to the next of kin of the deceased and to provide free treatment to the injured.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed grief over the accident and announced compensation. CM Yadav has announced to give Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Besides, instructions have been given to give free treatment to the injured.

Let us tell you that this accident happened near Bherughat of Simrol village, which is a hilly area and is known for such accidents. Eyewitnesses said that the bus lost control at a turn and fell into a ditch. People passing by immediately helped. People reached the spot and started pulling out the passengers trapped under the debris. Many people were taken out even before the emergency teams arrived.
The accident highlights the dangers present on these winding roads, leading to calls for immediate improvements. Change in weather and fog increases the risk of such accidents.
