Uttarakhand News: Thousands of people took advantage of the special camps in the first three days of the ‘Jan Jan Ki Sarkar – Jan Jan Ke Dwar’ programme, which is being run to solve public problems and provide benefits of government schemes to the common man. During this period, where people got quick solutions to their problems, other services including social welfare pension, Ayushman card, medical equipment, agricultural equipment were also provided free of cost.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a 15-day ‘People’s Government – People’s Door’ campaign is being conducted across the state from July 4. Under the campaign, special camps are being organized at the district, block and tehsil level. In which officers and employees of the concerned departments are solving public problems in the presence of public representatives. In the first three days of the campaign itself, thousands of people have participated in the camps organized across the state. In these camps, along with checks of various welfare schemes, medical equipment is also being distributed to the beneficiaries after health check-up. Apart from this, various certificates of social welfare pension, revenue department and Ayushman card are also being made and given. Besides, agricultural equipment and seeds are also being distributed. In these camps, people are also getting their problems like roads, electricity, water etc resolved.
Public participation was more than Rs 5 lakh
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is continuously emphasizing that people should not have to visit government offices to solve public problems, rather the department officers and employees themselves should reach out to the people and resolve their complaints. Keeping this thinking of the Chief Minister at the center, the state government had started a 45-day ‘People’s Government, People’s Door’ campaign from last December. Under the 45-day ‘Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar’ campaign started in the month of December, 681 camps were organized in which 5,33,452 citizens directly participated, not only this, about 33 thousand public grievances were resolved quickly during this period. This campaign was also praised as a best practice in governance.
The aim of the state government is that the public does not have to visit government offices to get their problems resolved. Through the campaign ‘People’s Government, People’s Door’, the administration is reaching out to the people and providing quick solutions to their problems. Besides, the benefits of various public welfare schemes are also being made available to the eligible people at one place. Our government is committed to serve the public with the mantra of simplification, solution and satisfaction.
