Pushkar Singh Dhami: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated as the chief guest in the inauguration program of Dharamshala built by Shri Anand Dharamshala Trust in Haridwar and inaugurated Anand Dharamshala Trust on this occasion. Addressing the function organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Kshatriya Kalauta community has always played an important role in building the society and nation on the strength of its hard work, courage and values. He said that the people of this society have done remarkable work in various fields like farming, business, education, social service and country’s security.
The Chief Minister said that the brave sons of the society are strengthening the borders and internal security of the nation by serving in the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and other security forces. Praising the work being done by Shri Anand Dharamshala Trust for religious awakening, cultural preservation and human welfare, he said that Shri Anand Dharamshala is a living symbol of the spirit of service, dedication and philanthropy.
The Chief Minister said that Haridwar is the gateway to India’s spiritual consciousness and eternal culture, where devotees coming from India and abroad experience faith and spiritual energy in the lap of Mother Ganga. He said that construction of Dharamshala for the convenience of the devotees is a virtuous and commendable work and it will prove useful for lakhs of devotees during the upcoming Kumbh and Chardham Yatra.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to make the Haridwar Kumbh to be held in the year 2027 grand, divine and safe. He said that work is being done rapidly for the revival of ghats, road system, cleanliness, transport and development of basic facilities, so that every devotee gets a well-organized and safe experience.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s Sanatan culture has got global recognition. Referring to projects like construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, redevelopment of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and Mahakal Lok, he said that in Uttarakhand also the work of redevelopment and beautification of ancient temples of Kedarkhand and Manaskhand areas is in continuous progress. He said that the state government is committed to protecting the cultural identity, eternal values and social harmony of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that by implementing the Uniform Civil Code in the state, a historic step has been taken towards ensuring equal rights and justice for all citizens. He called it an important decision towards respecting mother power and establishing a just society.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to strengthening law and order and maintaining social harmony. He said that instructions have been given to ensure that religious events are organized at designated places only, so that the general public does not face any kind of inconvenience.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that just as the holy Mother Ganga provides faith, peace and spiritual energy to crores of devotees, similarly Shri Anand Dharamshala will also become an important center of service, cooperation and convenience for the devotees, the needy and the society in the times to come.
