Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given financial and administrative approval of ₹8.61 crore for development works and relief to disaster affected families in Uttarakhand. With this amount, the electricity infrastructure in Dehradun Cantt will be strengthened, while the disaster affected families of Uttarkashi will be provided financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami has given financial and administrative approvals for strengthening the basic infrastructure facilities in the state and providing quick relief to the disaster affected families.
The Chief Minister has given financial and administrative approval of ₹ 4.92 crore for the bunch cable work being done by the Electricity Department in the area deprived of bunch cable under Dehradun Cantt assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister has approved a total of ₹ 3.69 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund at the rate of ₹ 3.00 lakh per building to provide relief to the affected families of 123 residential buildings completely damaged by the disaster in village Dharali, Harsil and tehsil Dunda, Chinyalisaur, Barkot and Mori area under Tehsil Bhatwadi in Uttarkashi district, for which the government order has also been issued.
The state government stands with the disaster affected families with full sensitivity and commitment. Along with providing timely relief to the affected families, the government is continuously working to strengthen the basic facilities in the state.
