Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami: On Saturday, representatives of Uttaranchal Gramin Bank met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister Camp Office. During this meeting, the representatives of the Bank contributed an amount of ₹35,49,371 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, which will be used for the relief and reconstruction work of the disaster affected people in Uttarakhand. Expressing his gratitude to the management of Uttaranchal Gramin Bank for this contribution, Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that this cooperation will help significantly in helping the disaster affected people and in reconstruction work. He said, “The cooperation extended by all sections of the society is highly commendable. Such collaborative initiatives will help in providing relief to the victims, and will promote the spirit of mutual cooperation in the society.
Chief Minister thanked the bank for relief work
The Chief Minister also said that the state government is continuously engaged in relief work in the disaster affected areas and this kind of contribution will prove helpful in completing the reconstruction work of the state quickly. Chairman of Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Mr. Harihar Patnaik, Mr. Rajeev Prakash, Ms. Bharti Naudiyal, Mr. Harish Kandari and Mr. Mahipal Dasila were also present in the meeting.
Chief Minister appealed for help in reconstruction
This type of contribution makes it clear that in difficult circumstances of the state, the support and cooperation of different sections of the society leads to success in disaster relief operations. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed for further help from all institutions and individuals, so that the reconstruction works in Uttarakhand can be completed as soon as possible.
