Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a total amount of ₹ 51 crore for the construction of helipads, expansion and development of other infrastructure facilities in various districts of the state, as well as for road connectivity, disaster management, police modernization and strengthening of judicial and prison infrastructure.
The Chief Minister said that top priority is being given to the development of roads, air connectivity, security, disaster management and basic facilities in the state. With the implementation of these schemes, transportation in difficult areas will become easier, disaster relief and rescue operations will gain momentum, police and administrative systems will become more effective and the overall development of the state will get a new direction.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami allocated ₹ 8.91 crore for the construction of helipad at Beda-Majheda (Karimpur) in Bageshwar district, ₹ 1.08 crore for the construction of helipad in village Sunkundi (Jakhol) of Mori development block of Uttarkashi district and the first sanction for 02 km access road and helipad site development under the construction work of helipad at Don Pareva under Nainital assembly constituency. In the first phase, approval has been given to sanction ₹ 8.30 lakh along with the remaining amount of ₹ 50 lakh for the execution of electrification and civil works at Sahastradhara Heliport, Dehradun PTB.
Under the state scheme, the Chief Minister has sanctioned ₹ 2.64 crore for the improvement and asphalting of the main Tok Kari motor road from Champawat assembly stage Tamli motor road in Champawat district, ₹ 3.84 crore for the reconstruction and improvement of the motor road from Lodhia to Chaugu (5 km from 4.500 to 9.500) in Hawalbagh development block of Almora assembly constituency of Almora district and Approval has been given to sanction an amount of ₹ 16.87 crore for converting the road from Salawala Bridge to Vijay Colony Bridge on New Cantt Motorway under Mussoorie assembly constituency of Dehradun from two lanes to 10.50 m width.
The Chief Minister approved ₹ 1.62 crore in the first installment for the construction work of SDRF Post-Nainidanda village Uthidagaon in district Pauri Garhwal, ₹ 2.14 crore for the construction of video conferencing hall (including VC cubicles and necessary equipment) in District Jail, Tehri, along with ₹ 85.72 lakh in the first installment, as well as ₹ 85.72 lakh for the machine equipment, plant and equipment of the police headquarters. Approval has been given to sanction an amount of ₹ 15.00 crore against ₹ 25.00 crore.
