Dehradun. There are chances of change in weather patterns in Uttarakhand during the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most of the hilly districts of the state till June 28. At the same time, some areas of Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar may also see periods of rain.
The Meteorological Department said that on June 29, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts. Apart from this, light rain is likely to continue in other hilly areas. On June 30, there is forecast of rain and thundershowers in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. Meteorologists have advised people living in mountainous areas and travelers to remain alert in view of the weather conditions.
Weather changed in Dehradun also
In the capital Dehradun on Friday, after being humid and bright throughout the day, it rained in many areas in the evening. It rained for about half an hour in Bengaliwala, Haridwar Bypass, Ladpur, Raipur Road and surrounding areas, which provided relief to people from the heat. Light drizzle was also recorded at some places.
The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of cloudy sky in Dehradun in the coming days and light rain in the evening or night. Due to this, a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures can also be recorded.
