Army and Reliance Foundation join hands to boost shooting program. Reliance: Army Marksmanship Unit and Reliance Foundation join hands, shooting will reach new heights.

Reliance News: Mumbai, 7 November 2025: Mhow, the prestigious Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) under the ‘Mission Olympics Wing’ of the Indian Army, has entered into its first corporate partnership with Reliance Foundation (RF) to promote shooting-programme.

This partnership will support 14 shooters who are currently training at AMU. These include Sandeep Singh, who participated in the Paris Olympics, and Preeti Rajak, the first woman subedar of the army.

Speaking on the occasion, Nita M. Ambani, Founder Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, said, “It is an honor for us to be associated with the Indian Army and the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU). This partnership is not just a programme, but a resolve to take India to the top position in sports. Together we will create such champions who will make the country proud.”

He said that the Indian Army has given birth to many excellent players like Colonel Rajvardhan Singh Rathore to Lieutenant Colonel Neeraj Chopra, who have made India and Indians proud on many occasions.

India will have strong preparation for the Olympic Games

Under this partnership, we aim to ensure India’s strong preparation for the 2028 and 2032 Olympic Games through facilities like scholarships, coaching, sports science, international exposure and high-level training.
