Bangladesh Cricket Team Najmul Hossain Shanto Latest Cricket News| Indian Cricket Team Cricket News: We want to play more Tests against India’: Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain.

Cricket News: Bangladesh has won the 2-Test home series played against Pakistan 2-0. This is Bangladesh’s first Test series win against Pakistan at home. After winning the second Test, Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto said that we want to play Test series against India, Australia and England at home and on their soil.

Speaking to the media after the match, Shanto said, “We now want to play more Tests home and away with Australia, England, and India. When we get a chance to play matches, when we get those new experiences, the team is built gradually. Otherwise, playing the same team again and again, playing in the same conditions, makes it difficult to build a team.”

The Bangladesh captain said, “Hopefully the ICC will give us a chance to play more Test matches with all the teams. Now that we are getting a chance to play more matches, it is a good thing. If we can play with Australia, England, and India, it will be better for our team. As a Test nation, we still have a lot to do.”

Talking about the last hour of the match, Shanto said, “I think it is difficult to explain the emotion in the last hour. To be honest, they were batting well and there was a bit of pressure on us. But compared to the previous Test matches, controlling that emotion and not panicking has become a little better. There is a need for a little more improvement in this area.”

He said that as a captain I am happy. We were able to play 10 days of Test including both the matches, it is definitely a matter of pride. Generally we did not play this kind of cricket much earlier. We played as a complete team. Every player worked hard. Batsmen, bowlers and coaching staff all contributed.

Nazmul praised wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das, who was the player of the match in the second test. He said, “Litton batted responsibly. From that it can be understood that this is going to be a really big team and everyone in the dressing room had the belief that Taijul will provide support and Liton will keep scoring runs. Liton’s batting goes a lot of credit for the victory in this match.” After winning the first Test by 104 runs, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 78 runs in the second Test and won the series 2–0.
