Let us tell you that in the final match played against South Africa on Sunday at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the Indian team became the new champion of world cricket by winning by 52 runs. Batting first, India scored 298 runs for 7 wickets. South Africa was reduced to 246 runs in 45.3 overs.
