
Mumbai, September 25, 2025: Mumbai Indians today appointed former Australian cricketer and two -time World Cup winner Lisa Kitley as the new head coach of their women’s team.

Lisa Kitley has been a part of the 1997 and 2005 Australian World Cup winning teams. She is considered one of the most respected coaches of women’s cricket. He not only has a great cricket career experience, but also has a widespread experience of coaching in Australia, England and the top leagues of the world.

The Mumbai Indians women’s team is already the most successful franchise in the history of Women’s Premier League (WPL). He has franchise coaching experience in large leagues like WBBL, The Hundred and WPL. Recently she gave the title of Northern Super Charges women’s team in The Hundred (2025).
Cricket career
Lisa Kitley has been a stylish opener as a player. He represented Australia at 9 Test matches, 82 ODIs and 1 T20 Internationals.
