Rameez Raja made serious allegations against Andy Paiyoft and said that he is always in favor of the Indian team. He claimed, “According to me, Andy Picroft is often a referee in Indian matches. Whenever India matches, Picroft is referee in that match. I have seen myself that all I was present during the toss, among them, Picroft used to always be referees in Indian matches.” Rameez also said that he has data, according to which Andy Picroft has played the role of referee in Indian matches 90 times. He said that this is very strange, because a match referee should remain neutral, but why Pychroft is always in Indian matches, the question arises.
Truth of allegations of Rameez Raja
After this statement of Ramiz Raja, his claim proved wrong when the data was investigated. In fact, Andy Paiyoft has played the role of referee in the matches of both Indian and Pakistan teams in all three formats of international cricket. Paiyoft has played the responsibility of referee in 124 matches of the Indian team, while the number in Pakistan’s matches is 102. It became clear from this figure that the allegation of the Rameez Raja that Payakroft lives in favor of the Indian team was completely wrong. Indeed, the figure of referee in the matches of both teams is the same, which shows that there is no partiality in Pykroft’s behavior.
Pakistan’s response
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Pakistan team have expressed their displeasure over the dispute many times. He says that in this match played against the Indian team, Paiyoft did not work impartially, and even after their complaint, the ICC did not take any step. However, the ICC says that Paiyoft is not accused of being biased and has always performed his duties impartially.
