Ahmedabad, May 13 (IANS). Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill looked very happy after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 82 runs at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday in IPL 2026. It was GT’s fifth consecutive win and with this win the team has moved to the first position in the points table. The GT captain credited his bowlers for the victory. After the match, Shubman Gill said, “We knew that a score of 170 was going to be difficult on this wicket. We bowled very well. We had planned the bowling before the match and were successful in executing it perfectly. We are bowling well in the powerplay.”

Praising Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar, Gill said, “I think both of them batted brilliantly. It was difficult to reach 170 without them.” On reaching the first position in the points table, Gill said, “All this was possible because of playing well consistently.
