New Delhi, October 28 (IANS). Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) on Tuesday said the company’s income during H1FY26 has increased 26 per cent year-on-year to Rs 6,088 crore. During this period, energy sales have increased by 39 percent to 19,569 million units.
The company said operational capacity has increased to 16.7 GW in the first half of the financial year ending September 30, the highest in the country.
EBITDA grew 25 per cent year-on-year to Rs 5,651 crore in H1FY26.
Adani Green Energy CEO Ashish Khanna said, “The company has added 2.4 GW of renewable energy capacity in H1FY26 and is on track to add 5 GW of renewable energy capacity in full FY26. Due to the continuous efforts of our team, we are making rapid progress in building a 30 GW renewable energy plant at Khavra Gujarat.”
He further said that the company produced 19.6 billion units of clean energy, which is equal to the one year electricity demand of a country like Croatia.
Khanna said, “We are continuously adopting new renewable technologies and digitizing more and more aspects of our business to boost operational efficiency, project execution and safety. The continued recognition of our ESG initiatives reaffirms our commitment to sustainable development, leadership in India’s energy transition.”
AGEN has continuously expanded its greenfield capabilities by leveraging advanced resource planning, engineering and supply chain management as well as project management, execution from its partner Adani Infra India Limited (AIIL).
AGEN added 2,437 MW of greenfield capacity in H1FY26, which is 74 per cent of the capacity addition in the entire FY2025. Greenfield capacity added by 5,496 MW in the last one year, including 4,200 MW of solar capacity (2,900 MW in Khavra in Gujarat, 1,050 MW in Rajasthan and 250 MW in Andhra Pradesh).
AGEN is building the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khavra, Gujarat with a renewable capacity of 30 GW, spread over 538 square kilometres, five times the size of the city of Paris.
