Ahmedabad, July 14 (IANS). Adani Group has become the fastest entrant into India’s ‘Top 10 Most Valuable Brands’ for the first time, it was announced on Tuesday. At the same time, according to ‘Brand Finance India 100 Report 2026’, Adani Power has emerged as the most valuable energy brand of the country.
According to the report of independent brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance, Adani Group has moved from 13th place to eighth place this year. With this, it has become the fastest brand to reach the top-10 most valuable brands of India in just 3 years.
According to the report, the brand value of Adani Group is estimated at $8.48 billion, which does not include the value of approximately $500 million that relates to Adani Wilmar and its associated consumer-focused brands. Last year the brand value of the group was $6.46 billion.
The report said that the brand value of Adani Group has registered an increase of 31.3 percent, which is the highest among the top-20 brands of India. With this achievement, Adani Group has become the third most valuable business group (conglomerate) in the country.
Even in the last three years, Adani Group has made the fastest jump among the top-25 most valuable brands of India. During this period the company gained 15 places. In the last one year alone, the group’s brand value has increased by $2.02 billion, which is more than its total brand value in the year 2022.
According to the report, Adani Power’s brand value increased by 152 percent to $1.8 billion, making it India’s most valuable energy brand. Apart from this, Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions are also included in the top-5 energy brands of the country, while Adani Total Gas has also registered a strong presence of the group in this list.
Alex Hague, Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific, said that Adani Group’s entry among the top-10 most valuable brands of India is proof that the Group has become an important part of the country’s development journey. Through continuous expansion in sectors such as infrastructure, logistics and energy, the Group has built strong brands that are addressing the key needs of India’s economic growth.
According to the report, Adani Group’s Brand Strength Index (BSI) has also increased by 3.6 points to 84. With this, the group’s ranking improved eight places to 18th.
The report also states that Adani Group has registered the fastest growth in terms of brand strength among the top-20 companies in India, which makes it clear that this diverse group doing business in various sectors has now succeeded in building its strong identity, trust and stakeholder confidence among the most established consumer and retail brands in the country.
