New Delhi, October 31 (IANS). Tech company Apple has released its September quarter results. The company achieved revenue of $102.5 billion in the quarter, which shows an increase of 8 percent over the same period last year.
“The record September quarter revenue of $102.5 billion includes record September quarter revenue for iPhone and the highest-ever revenue for Services,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said during the earnings call.
He further added, “In the September quarter, we launched our best-ever iPhone lineup, including models like iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. In addition, we also launched AirPods Pro 3 and a new Apple Watch lineup. Additionally, we are excited to share our best product lineup with MacBook Pro and iPad Pro with the powerful M5 chip.”
Apple CFO Kevan Parekh said, “iPhone revenue was $ 49 billion, which is 6 percent more than last year and the credit for this goes to the iPhone 16 family. iPhone registered growth in most of the markets we tracked, with September quarter records being set in many emerging markets like Latin America, Middle East and South Asia. Additionally, the largest record has been made in India so far. “
Earlier, Apple recorded its highest ever quarterly shipments in India on the back of the success of the iPhone 17 series and demand from the festive season. The company shipped a total of 49 lakh smartphones in the country during the July-September quarter of 2025.
Recently, this figure of research firm Omdia shipment shows the strongest performance of Apple in the Indian market so far with a growth of 47 percent on an annual basis.
Additionally, India accounted for 9 percent of Apple’s total global iPhone shipments in the quarter, the largest ever for the country. This reflects the country’s growing importance in the company’s global strategy.
