The iPhone is considered more secure than many other smartphones. It has many settings that give users complete control over their privacy and security. However, most of these settings are off by default. If you have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, then we will tell you about some special security and privacy settings of the iPhone, with the help of which you can make your device completely secure. It’s very easy to change these settings, and in just a few steps you can make your iPhone almost completely secure.
turn off app tracking
Whenever you install a new app, it asks for permission to track your activity. You can choose to “Deny” this permission. If you “Allow” it, these apps can track your behavior across the Internet. If you have previously given permission to an app, you can also take it back. To do this, go to **Settings** and select **Privacy & Security**. From there, turn off the **Tracking** option.
Face ID must be turned on
When setting up a new iPhone, don’t forget to configure Face ID. If you haven’t turned on Face ID yet, you can do so by going to **Settings**. Although many people are concerned that Face ID data and images are sent to Apple, this is not the case. Face ID data is stored only on your device and provides more security than a traditional PIN or password.
Turn on “Find My”
All iPhone users have a common fear: having their device stolen or lost. In such situations, the “Find My” feature proves to be a very useful tool to track your iPhone. To turn it on, go to **Settings** and tap your Apple ID account, which appears at the top of the screen. Here you will get the option of **Find My**. Turn it on, and also turn on the **Send Last Location** feature. However, please note that you need to have Location Services turned on for this feature to work.
Turn off Apple Analytics
Although iPhones don’t share much data with Apple, you can further improve your data privacy by turning off certain Analytics-related settings. One such setting is Apple Analytics. It’s a little hidden away in Settings, and you’ll have to turn it off manually. If you don’t want your data to be shared with Apple, go to Settings and go to the ‘Privacy & Security’ menu. Just below this section, you will find the option ‘Analytics & Improvements’. Turn it off.
