New Delhi, June 12 (IANS). Social media apps Facebook, Messenger and Instagram are down globally. Users are facing difficulties in logging in on all these social media platforms.
These three social media platforms are operated by Meta.
On Facebook, users are facing problems like opening feed, viewing their page and logging in. Apart from this, posts and reels are also not being shared.
Something similar is being seen on Instagram, where users are not able to access the feed. Apart from this, one is facing difficulties in sending messages and posting stories as well as sharing reels.
Along with India, users from many different countries of the world including America, UK and Australia are reporting problems in all three social media platforms of Meta.
On social media platform X, users also reported Facebook and Instagram being down.
One user wrote that Instagram is down and I am not able to see the reel on my phone. At the same time, others wrote that my Facebook page has disappeared and I am not able to log in.
According to reports, Meta is the world’s largest social media company. The number of monthly active users of Facebook has exceeded 3.1 billion, making it the world’s largest social network. At the same time, users of photo and video sharing platform Instagram have also reached the level of about 3 billion.
At the same time, Meta’s messaging platform Messenger is being used by more than 1 billion people every month. According to the company, the monthly user base of all its apps including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp has reached about 4 billion.
